“Japanese” food stall upstairs at Mercury Plaza, Mercury Lane, off K Rd -$10 Sashimi lunch box with chicken teriyaki in place of beef, regulars only!
Salmon good and not too fatty 7/10, terakihi v fresh 7/10, tempura 6/10, sushi 4/10, miso soup 4/10, rice 6/10. For Korean Japanese food this one is pretty good and very consistent. Major caveat is to ask how long your meal will be if the place looks busy as they get a high proportion of phone ordered takeaways and it’s not uncommon to wait 20-30 mins. Now I ask before ordering!
Overall 6/10 for taste, 6.5/10 value for money
